"(Is this the way to) Amarillo" played Tony Christie but mouthed by Peter Kay for Comic Relief played a big role in my childhood music, due to being a very popular song because of the humour and catchiness when created in 2009 it was highly televised and gained huge publicity due to the editing and the different celebrities they used in the video such as Paddy McGuinness and Jimmy Savile, but also the up tempo beat that became very interesting and and created a happy mood amongst its viewers. This drawn my attention to the song when I was younger and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Finally this song became very close with me as when I was younger because I enjoyed the tune to it.
you have covered a variety of issues throughout the 4 pieces, you have pickled up some key aspects around gender. You could have explored age, religion and nationality in more depth. Your ML is good but could have used denotes, connotes, symbolises more. Arguments you made around gender inequality could have been expanded on in terms of objectification. Close ups are as you say used to relate the artists to the TA see facial expressions and allows them to read mood, narrative, these are gesture codes. A good attempt at this stage = well done
